Beautiful article @Keith! I also realised this when I traveled to Zanzibar, East Africa. I remember one time my phone broke down when I was travelling and I felt like my travelling experience had been distorted. But I asked myself, did I travel here just to take photos or enjoy the seeing around the beauty of Zanzibar! Over time, I have realised that my travelling is more of experiencing the place than taking photos and videos .
